Raspberry Tart Pie Pastry
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups fresh raspberries
- 1/4 cup raspberry jam
- 1 egg for egg wash
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
In a food processor, pulse flour, sugar, and cold cubed butter until it resembles coarse crumbs
Add cold water gradually and pulse until the dough comes together
Form the dough into a disk, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes
Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface and place it in your tart pan
Spread raspberry jam evenly over the tart pastry
Arrange fresh raspberries on top of the jam
Fold the edges of the pastry over the raspberries to create a rustic tart shape
Beat an egg and brush it over the pastry for a golden finish
Preheat your air fryer to 350F 175C
Place the tart in the air fryer basket and cook for 18-20 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown
Once done, let it cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar
Serve your delicious Air Fryer Raspberry Tart Pie Pastry warm or at room temperature
