Dump and Go Honey Garlic Chicken
This is a tasty and easy Slow Cooker Dump and Go Honey Garlic Chicken recipe that makes tender, flavorful chicken in a savory honey garlic sauce with very little work.
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Optional: sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, ketchup, minced garlic, dried basil, dried oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper
Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker
Pour the sauce over the chicken
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth
Stir the mixture into the slow cooker, mixing well with the sauce
Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes on high, until the sauce thickens
Serve chicken with sauce spooned over the top
Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired
