Roasted Asparagus



Simple and flavorful, this roasted asparagus dish is a perfect side for any vegan meal. The high heat of the oven brings out the natural sweetness of the asparagus while the garlic adds a savory depth of flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch asparagus spears, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 425F 220C

Trim the asparagus spears and put them on a baking sheet that has parchment paper on it

Spread the minced garlic, salt, and pepper out evenly on top of the asparagus after adding the olive oil

To make sure the oil and seasonings cover all of the asparagus, toss it around

Arrange the asparagus on the baking sheet so that it's smooth

Roast in an oven that has been heated up for 12 to 15 minutes, or until soft but still a little crunchy

Take it out of the oven and serve it hot
